Joel Huotari Honored as one of the Region’s 40 Leaders Under 40

[vc_row][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]WilliamsMcCarthy LLP is pleased to announce that Partner Joel M. Huotari has been honored by the Rockford Chamber of Commerce as a recipient of the “40 Leaders Under Forty” award.

Huotari is dedicated to supporting organizations and programs that serve children, lifelong learning and education, and arts and culture. Currently, Huotari is serving as the board vice president of the Riverfront Museum Park, the premier cultural center for the region, and has been involved with the organization for two years.

For seven years, Huotari served on the board of directors for the Discovery Center Museum. While on the board, he served on various committees, as well as vice president and president. He also served for four years on the board of directors for Shelter Care Ministries, a local non-profit dedicated to serving homeless families and adults suffering from mental illness.

Earlier this year, he was selected by Leading Lawyers – one of the most trusted and respected resources to locate reputable, experienced lawyers – as an Emerging Lawyer. He was identified by his peers to be among the top lawyers who are age 40 or younger and has proven to be of exceptional character and has conveyed outstanding aptitude for the practice of law early in his career.

Huotari focuses his practice in Commercial Litigation, Intellectual Property and Personal Injury.
