Daniel Huntley Honored as one of the Region’s 40 Leaders Under 40

ROCKFORD, Ill. (November 8, 2019) –  WilliamsMcCarthy LLP is pleased to announce that Associate Daniel Huntley has been honored by the Rockford Chamber of Commerce as a recipient of the “40 Leaders Under Forty” award.

Professionally, Huntley is consistently recognized by his peers to be among the top young lawyers in the region, demonstrating exceptional character and conveying outstanding aptitude for the practice of law early in his career.

Huntley dedicates his legal expertise to organizations throughout the region. He is a prolific pro bono attorney in the community, serving as counsel to Rockford Area Habitat for Humanity, Ogle County Habitat for Humanity, and the Rochelle Area Community Foundation, among others. He has been recognized as a top pro bono volunteer by the state level organization of Habitat for Humanity for his contributions, which include the sale of Rockford Area Habitat for Humanity’s volunteer-constructed homes each year. Huntley also serves as a volunteer attorney for Prairie State Legal Services.

In addition to sharing his legal insight, Huntley dedicates his time to several other area nonprofit organizations. He has previously served on the board of directors for Shelter Care Ministries and as a scholarship committee member of the Community Foundation of Northern Illinois. Currently he serves as the President of Severson Dells Nature Center and was recently named to Rockford Register Star’s 2019 Next Up Series for upcoming and emerging regional leaders. Huntley also is active in the Rockford Chamber’s IGNITE Young Professional Business Networking Group, which creates a support and referral network for the region’s young businesspeople.
