The topic of the seminar was “The Rules of Evidence: A Practical Toolkit.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”6180″ img_size=”full” add_caption=”yes”][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]
The seminar offered lawyers fundamental knowledge and practical skills needed to make the best use of evidence and testimony. Lawyers in attendance earned continuing legal education credit. Mr. Devine was paired with six other experts to help attorneys untangle the intricate web of evidence and procedures they face during litigation.
Mr. Devine has been a lawyer with WilliamsMcCarthy LLP for more than three decades. He is a partner in the firm’s litigation group. He is licensed in Illinois and was an assistant state’s attorney before joining WilliamsMcCarthy LLP in 1983. Since joining the firm, he has been the chairman of the Litigation Group and the Committee on Associates. He has tried approximately 75 jury trials over the course of his career, along with numerous bench trials and arbitration hearings.
