Apple Hired as New Associate with WilliamsMcCarthy LLP

[vc_row][vc_column width=”5/6″][vc_column_text]WilliamsMcCarthy LLP is pleased to announce the addition of Rockford native, Sarah E. Apple, as an associate in the firm’s transactional group. She will be focusing on general corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, governance and commercial contracts.

Prior to joining WilliamsMcCarthy, Apple practiced as a corporate associate with Sidley Austin LLP in downtown Chicago, and prior to that, with Pepper Hamilton LLP in Berwyn, Pennsylvania. She has represented private, public and not-for-profit company clients in a wide range of business transactions, including mergers, acquisitions and dispositions, reorganizations, minority and majority investments, joint ventures, and financings. Apple also has experience with business entity formation and dissolution, and has regularly advised clients regarding general corporate and contract law matters.

Apple graduated with honors from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 2012, where she was a senior editor of the Journal of Business Law. She received her B.S. in Speech and Hearing Science, with highest honors, from the University of Illinois in 2006.
